After nearly nine years of enjoyable service at VOA Associates, I made the leap into the ranks of the self-employed. Since December 2nd, 2002, I have practiced interior design in Florida under my own license. While this was a change of venue, many things about my practice remain the same. I continue to focus on the corporate market in Orlando and Maitland, working with the developers and landlords who rejoined me after my stint in the VOA-DC office. I strive to provide creative design solutions on schedule and on budget for all of my clients. And though my drawings have a much different look, my level of service and my commitment to quality has remained unchanged.

In leaving the hierarchy of a large firm, I gained the freedom to pursue a variety of project sizes and to spend more time with my growing family. In fact, it was the impending birth of my first child which was the strongest catalyst in the decision to go out on my own. It is also in the interest of being present to watch my children grow that I choose to work from home. My office is equipped with the most up-to-date technology available to maximize productivity and to remain accessible to those who need me.
